Judicial Candidates
 Welcome to the on-line directory of candidates for judge in the 52nd Assembly District. This is the very first time that a tool like this has existed for judicial contests.If you are a member of the 52nd Assembly District Democratic County Committee, then please plan on attending our Annual Meeting scheduled for Sunday, May 22nd from 3 pm to 6 pm at St. Francis College (Remsen & Court) in Brooklyn Heights. We will hear from the candidates for Civil Court and Supreme Court and we will vote on our preferences. This is the first time in decades that such a meeting has been held. Don't miss it! Civil Court seats will be decided in the September Primary Election. Judicial Delegates will also be decided in the Primary, and they will be voting on the Supreme Court nominees at a convention that takes place after the Primary. At this site you will be able to review the responses of judge candidates to various questions that were assembled for distribution to all of the candidates. I strongly encourage you to review these responses and make note of the topics you wish to hear more about when the candidate comes before you on May 22nd or at any time! You can also download a copy of the rules we will use for voting at the meeting and a copy of a proxy form you can use if you will be absent from the meeting. Please speak with my fellow State Committee member and District Leader, JoAnne Simon, or me about your proxy before faxing it to 718-228-5537. If you're not sure about your status as a member of the County Committee, send an email to JoAnne or an email to me with your name, your telephone number, and the address where you are registered to vote, and we will get right back to you.
